LR-321 crack injection epoxies offer versatility for various high-performance structural applications. LR-321 LV (formerly known as LR-321) is a low-viscosity epoxy for cracks that range from 1/8 in. to < 1/4 in. LR-321 SLV is a super low viscosity epoxy for fine cracks up to 1/8 in. LR-321 TXO (formerly known as LR-321G) is a medium viscosity epoxy with unique thixotropic properties, making it ideal for injection of blind-sided cracks ≥ 1/4 in.

Our Crackbond LR-321 Crack Injection Epoxies

Crackbond LR-321 Crack Injection Epoxies are used to repair cracks, voids, and other damaged areas on a concrete structure. The LR-321 low-viscosity resin is designed for high-performance repair applications, allowing it to work perfectly for most crack repair projects.

Epoxy injections join the cracked layers to restore them to their original appearance and strength.

The epoxy injection also provides moisture resistance and enhances structural durability. While most contractors work diligently to prevent cracks on concrete structures, sometimes they arise due to unforeseen or unavoidable factors. Some cracks ruin the structural integrity, but an epoxy injection can restore it to its pre-crack condition.

Epoxy Resin and Its Applications

Epoxy resins have several applications in the construction industry. However, they are primarily used to repair cracks on concrete surfaces. The epoxy resin acts as a bonding agent, which joins the cracked parts. While epoxy resins work well in crack repair projects, contractors should evaluate the cracks to help them choose the best viscosity. Low-viscosity resins should be used on small cracks, such as in walls, while wider cracks require heavier viscosity epoxies.

Super low viscosity resins, on the other hand, are ideal for fine or very fine crack repairs.

Other than crack repairs, epoxy resins can work as bonding agents to join fresh concrete to cured concrete or hardened to hardened concrete.

Our epoxy resins may be used as an effective mortar repair when mixed with kiln-dried silica sand or to fill larger voids when used with dried pea gravel.

Advantages of our Low Viscosity Crack Injection

Settling on epoxy crack repair does not guarantee a permanent solution to concrete cracks. You must assess the crack size and address underlying conditions to repair structural cracks. Once an assessment is complete, you should select an epoxy with the right viscosity even as you work on other factors contributing to the cracks. While crack repair adhesives have varied viscosities, low-viscosity epoxies work for most projects. The following advantages of our low-viscosity crack injection epoxies make them ideal for small crack repair projects:

  • Allows pressure injection or self-leveling for structural repair of 1/8 in. to < 1/4 in. concrete cracks repairs
  • It has gone through the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP
  • It is compliant with USDA inspection requirements
  • Our low-viscosity crack injection epoxies are UL certified – Drinking Water System Components (NSF/ANSI 61) joining and sealing products.
  • They are moisture-insensitive, allowing application on dry or damp surfaces.
  • It comes with an epoxy resin binder for mortar repair, patching, and overlay of interior surfaces, including aggregate.
  • It is an ideal sealer for interior slabs and exterior above-ground slabs, decks, patios, driveways, parking garages, and other structures.
  • Our low-viscosity adhesives are perfect for shear fracture repairs on interior and exterior concrete slabs
  • They are primers for industrial coatings
  • They may also work as a surface sealant
